About Us
Ellie has been practicing the art of psychotherapy for more than 20 years.
She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Purdue University
in 1988. Her training in clinical health psychology began while she was
in graduate school, and continued during her postdoctoral fellowship in
behavioral medicine with Montague Psychological Associates in Turners Falls,
MA. Her skills were refined during the time she spent as a clinical assistant
professor of medicine at Boston University School of Medicine. For more
than ten years she provided services to a varied clinical population at
the Women’s Health Group of Boston Medical Center and worked closely
with their primary care providers. Recent advances in the understanding
of the brain have led her to focus her energies on treating emotional,
attentional, and sleep disorders with eeg biofeedback. She was trained
in neurofeedback by EEG Spectrum, Inc. in April of 2006 and continues to
receive both peer and professional supervision. |
